NSS wing of GDC Dooru conducted a skill development programme titled ‘Paper Caft Skills’ on 15^th June, 2024. The aim of the programme was to inculcate special handicraft skills among the students to train them for future life skills. A group of 70 students of different semesters attended this prgramme. The training was given an expert from Mahatma Ghandi Handicrat Centre, Bangluru, Mr. Nandu Kumar. The programme was coordinated by Dr. ummer Rashid Zargar, Head Deptt. of Zoology. The programme kickstarted at 10:45 AM in the conference hall with the opening remarks by worthy Principal, Dr. Gh Hassan Thakur. In his opening remarks, Dr. Gh Hassan Thakur highlighted the importance of getting knowledge about various skills (such as life skills, soft skills etc.) during their stay in the college. He impressed upon the students that that there is emerging need to inculcate various skill in order to face the unemployment challenge.
